Marc grew up in the Abbotsford area, attending and graduating at Mennonite Educational Institute. He later went on to pursue theological studies at Canadian Mennonite University in Manitoba. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Marc worked in both the restaurant and the construction industries.

Marc received his Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University in 2021. After completing his articles at a respected local firm, he joined Albert & Co and has developed a bustling practice in civil litigation, with a focus on construction law and builders’ liens, commercial tenancy disputes, debt claims, and real estate litigation. He appears regularly in the BC Supreme Court and takes on appellate work whenever possible. In addition to his work as a litigator, Marc regularly guides clients through complex development issues involving municipalities, strata property disputes, and agricultural land reserve issues.

Marc is passionate about getting people out of the stress and woes of litigation so they can get back to living life. He sees his role in the world of law as a protracted facilitation of resolving conflict, and finding ways to help people move forward with clarity and peace.

Outside of the office, Marc lives in the mountains as an obsessed peak-bagger, and also makes faithful trips to his second home in Mexico. He additionally enjoys his work as a director of the Abbotsford District Bar Association.
